Welcome! I’m Margo Cox, NCTM. I began teaching piano in 2002. I studied with Dr. Leonard Richter at Walla Walla College (now University) and earned my B.A. in 2003. From 2006-2008 I studied with Dr. Eleanor Elkins, then Laura Curtis 2008-2010 at Whitman College.
I am a nationally certified piano teacher (NCTM) and I serve on the board of the Washington State Music Teachers Association as a District Director. I’m also the chapter president of the Walla Walla Music Teachers Association and am the Music Artistry Program chair. I love working with musicians to refine their technique, build grit and foster their joy in music.
I stay busy teaching piano at Valley Adventist Schools, accompanying various groups, and working as a staff accompanist for the Kennewick First United Methodist Church.
